The current Perspective menu options allow you to open new perspectives in the same window, and close them,
but there is no way of switching between them, or even seeing which ones are open.

Either we should just support one open perspective, with the old one persisting its state when closed,
or we should make the fact that there are multiple open ones more visible and easier to work with.
