Description Thorsten Urhahn CLA 2007-07-25 10:37:00 EDT
Build ID: 20070113-2308

Steps To Reproduce:
1. Add a discipline grouping to disciplines
2. Add a discipline under this grouping
3. Add another discipline under this discipline
4. Add tasks to the discipline
5. Try to find a task from a capability pattern via 'add from method contend': it is not selectable
6. Add one task a hierarchical level higher: voila, all tasks are selectable, even the deeper nested ones.

More information:
While making my own process description, I felt it necessary for didactical purposes to have some nesting in the disciplines. You cannot add a discipline group under a discipline group, but I found out that it is possible to create a discipline beneath a discipline. Unfortunately, all tasks in my nested structure where not selectable when I wanted to use them in my capability patterns. It seems that everything that is connected to a discipline is suppressed as long as there is not a single task present. I do not want to give up my discipline tree. In the moment I live with the work around that either I have to come up with dummy tasks or have to assign some tasks twice: once to the upper discipline just make the nested content visible, and once to the desired position.

Sounds like an overlook in this case. minor as the workaorund works. Let's look at it in the next release.
