Steps to reproduce:

Create an invalid WebDAV site in the Site explorer (e.g. bad URL).
Click on the site in the left pane.
An error dialog appears, after which the IDE becomes completely & utterly
unresponsive. In fact, under Gnome, the panel & window manager (Sawfish, in this
case) becomes unresponsive as well, until Eclipse is terminated by killing the
process. 

I replicated this twice on my machine & don't feel like trying it again.
