Description Robert Ma CLA 2007-07-05 12:13:51 EDT
Build ID: 20070212-1330

Steps To Reproduce:
For Copy/Paste of projects, I can easily enter an invalid project path by unchecking the "Use Default" button and type in an invalid location. I have apply the patch in 186752 for the ProjectContentsLocationArea, but it still does not fix the problem. The reason, I think, is because WIDProjectLocationSelectionDialog still need to pass in result (error message) to applyValidationResult() after ProjectContentsLocationArea.checkValidLocation() is called.

1. Apply patch from 186752
2. Copy a project
3. Paste the project
4. Uncheck the Use Default button
5. Enter any invalid path

This bug hasn't had any activity in quite some time. Maybe the problem got resolved, was a duplicate of something else, or became less pressing for some reason - or maybe it's still relevant but just hasn't been looked at yet.

If you have further information on the current state of the bug, please add it. The information can be, for example, that the problem still occurs, that you still want the feature, that more information is needed, or that the bug is (for whatever reason) no longer relevant.
