Description Davor Marinic CLA 2007-07-05 03:21:55 EDT
Using Birt Web Viewer with servlets "run" or "frameset", generates HTML output which can not be displayed or used (frameset) in Opera.

If using servlet "preview" - HTML is shown correctly.

Which version of your Opera?
Comment 2 Davor Marinic CLA 2007-07-05 03:44:33 EDT
Any version. Tried with 9.21 and with 8.0.
This problem also existed before with "frameset" servlet (with any version of Opera)
Firefox and IE show HTML report correctly.

I think the problem is with javascripts for showing parameter input dialog and report generation progress bar.

There are some js issues in prototype.js when run in Opera browser. Defer to future to do research.

I have tried with Opera 9.25, and the web viewer works fine in frameset mode in the latest build.

I have found out that Opera is as strict as Firefox 3 regarding the namespaces in XML structures created with JavaScript. Since the bug https://bugs.eclipse.org/bugs/show_bug.cgi?id=213980 has been fixed for Firefox 3, it may have also fixed the Opera issue.
