Here is another wish: When I connect to a provider, and a chat message comes in, the "Messages" window appears on the bottom. However, this is a very subtle notification, and I may easily be missed. Here are two options:

- mylyn has a "popup" box in the lower right corner (so i assume this is an eclipse widget). Maybe something like this can show "message from soandso, and the first words of the message", and a click on it would focus the message in the messages window

- or give the user the option to play a sound either on the first incoming message from a new user, or on any incoming messages. This way I get a "ding" and I know i'll have to go hunt for messages.
