Steps To Reproduce:
1. Open up the PDE UI plug-in.
2. In the filter form, type "perspective"
3. Click "Add..."
4. Add any extension point that does not have the word "perspective" in it.
Bug: The right side of the editor goes blank.
Bug: Selection is cleared in the TreeViewer
Bug: The new element is not visible, because it is filtered out.

Because of the awkwardness of the Add behaviour, I think that "Add..." should also be disabled when the filter is active, as we intend to do for the Up/Down buttons (bug 194529).

Peter, this bug is extremely similar to bug 194529. Let me know if you want to take on this one, since it is only one extra line on top of your fix for that bug. :)

If not, I can take care of it when the patch for bug 194529 is finished and applied.
