Steps To Reproduce:
1.Open the configuration of OpenUP and tab to the "Plug-in and Package Selection" page
2.Check "base_concepts" and expend it on "Add these Categories" treeviewer
3.Uncheck the "guidance". Its parent "method_concepts" will be unchecked too
4.Check the "categories". Its parent will be gray but it should be checked.
5.Reset to the select all status
6.Uncheck the "guidance" under "cc_list". The "guidance" under "method_architecture_fundamentals" will be unchecked. Its parent is checked but should be gray



More information:
The same problem exist in "Subtract these Categories" treeviewer
