3.3 RC1 - should be resizable - has strange empty space of top - better show error in staus line
We use the EncodingFieldEditor inside a MessageDialogPage which cannot be configured to show the status at the bottom.

I think all dialogs should be resizable
So the only issue here then is the empty space at the top?
I think its better if the dialog wouldn't reuse the EncodingFieldEditor that is designed for a preference page. There are issues like the group border which only makes sense on the preference page when there are more than one group
