Description Patrick Chuong CLA 2007-05-18 11:09:13 EDT
There are two enhancement requests.

1) have the property initially set to expanded/collapsed if there is any child properties.

2) have color property for a node. This is useful when a application want to highlight a certain property in the tree.

patch for the enhancement

Any descriptor that wants to control the expanded state and text color must implement the IPropertyDescriptor2 interface.

Patrick, thanks for the patch (we get far too few)! We're currently in 'lock-down' (RC) mode for the 3.3 release but I'll take a look once 3.3 goes out...

Apparently, we didn't look at it in 3.4 either. Removing target milestone.

This bug hasn't had any activity in quite some time. Maybe the problem got resolved, was a duplicate of something else, or became less pressing for some reason - or maybe it's still relevant but just hasn't been looked at yet.

If you have further information on the current state of the bug, please add it. The information can be, for example, that the problem still occurs, that you still want the feature, that more information is needed, or that the bug is (for whatever reason) no longer relevant.
