Description Pascal Rapicault CLA 2007-05-16 14:44:56 EDT
Copying resources from the file system into a project is done in the foreground which is pretty annoying when a lot of files are being copied.

Oops, wrong component.
Comment 3 Pascal Rapicault CLA 2007-05-22 09:38:39 EDT
Could you please give a place to start, such that one willing to help does not have to run through the whole codebase?
Comment 4 John Arthorne CLA 2007-05-23 13:40:42 EDT
The main entry point is CopyFilesAndFoldersOperation in the org.eclipse.ui.ide plugin.

This bug hasn't had any activity in quite some time. Maybe the problem got resolved, was a duplicate of something else, or became less pressing for some reason - or maybe it's still relevant but just hasn't been looked at yet.

If you have further information on the current state of the bug, please add it. The information can be, for example, that the problem still occurs, that you still want the feature, that more information is needed, or that the bug is (for whatever reason) no longer relevant.
