Description Gernot Hüller CLA 2007-04-29 05:04:41 EDT
Build ID: M20070212-1330

Steps To Reproduce:
1. press Ctrl-H in a Java editor to open the Search dialog
2. try to use a keyboard shortcut to switch between the File Search/Java Search/Plug-In Search tabs
In Windows, the usual shortcut is Ctrl-Tab and Ctrl-Shift-Tab.
However, in Eclipse, pressing Ctrl-Tab has the same effect as pressing Tab alone.

More information:
There is another kind of tabs, as seen in the "Run..." dialog (Main/Arguments/JRE/..."). Maybe Ctrl-Tab could also be incorporated there?

Paul, do you know if we override the native behaviour at the Workbench/keybinding level? Or is this an SWT issue?

This bug hasn't had any activity in quite some time. Maybe the problem got resolved, was a duplicate of something else, or became less pressing for some reason - or maybe it's still relevant but just hasn't been looked at yet.

If you have further information on the current state of the bug, please add it. The information can be, for example, that the problem still occurs, that you still want the feature, that more information is needed, or that the bug is (for whatever reason) no longer relevant.
