1. Unzip the build M8_T4
2. Open the README
3. Notice there is not mention of the need to edit web.xml to get ALFExampleTool to work

4. Go to ALFExampleTool\WEB-INF 
5. Notice there are three XML files- 
   web.xml
   For standalone app without SSO web.xml
   For SSO demo web.xml
6. The contents of two files need to copy/pasted into web.xml to get the respective examples working
