I occasionally use the "Pin Editor" toggle, and find that it offers no real benefit because I still accidentally close the pinned editor. Pin Editor keeps Eclipse from auto-closing it, but it should also keep the user from closing it without confirmation.

+1. Should also work on Close All, and should show only one dialog for all editors, similar to the Save Resources dialog.
