Description Tod Creasey CLA 2007-04-04 09:14:14 EDT
It is not currently possible to add any information about a color or font preference other than it's description to the preference page for fonts.

For fonts like those used for the java editor or annotations there is extra preference information that is associated with a font that needs to be co-located.

See the Annotation preference page for some good examples.

Note that this is not the same as the preview area which is currently available (see the view tab previews which were added by the themeElementCategory element or the org.eclipse.ui.themes extension point).

Marking for 3.4 as this is an impediment to JDT integrating with our preference page.

Susan is now responsible for watching the [Themes] category.

This bug hasn't had any activity in quite some time. Maybe the problem got resolved, was a duplicate of something else, or became less pressing for some reason - or maybe it's still relevant but just hasn't been looked at yet.

If you have further information on the current state of the bug, please add it. The information can be, for example, that the problem still occurs, that you still want the feature, that more information is needed, or that the bug is (for whatever reason) no longer relevant.
