George,
there is a Linux/ELF library in the eu.geclipse.glite.info plug-in.

* Is this used somewhere? I could not find any place where this library is referenced. If it is not used, we should remove it.

* If it is used, we need a solution for the different operating systems. That said, we should provide library versions for the different systems in OS specific fragments - and not in this bundle.

Can you please clarify?

I guess it's save to delete that one since it's a library for the java profiling interface. I guess that one got accidentally  committed to the repository.
