I20070313-1051

1. load org.eclipse.releng from HEAD
2. open text.map
2. open the History view
3. select rev. 1.382 and rev. 1.383
4. compare with each other
==> the diffs are marked wrong and using 'Next Change' goes doesn't go to the
    correct diffs either

I'm marking this as 'major' because the consequences of acting upon wrong diff results might be bad.

I enabled a feature for merging token diffs that has existed in the text merge viewer since the beginning. In the tests I performed, I couldn't find any problems but this failure is caused by that code. For M6, I will revert to the old behavior and will investigate a proper fix in M7.
