Adding additional events to the DateTime widget (specifically the SWT.CALENDAR mode) would provide a lot of value.

Right now, all that is available is simple selection notification.

The ability to detect a double-click or default selection would be very helpful.

This request is related to bug 177764.  Both of these requests are intended to help reduce the ambiguity of user interactions with this widget.  Today, almost all interactions result in selection change.
