Description Randy Hudson CLA 2007-03-16 10:01:06 EDT
The user can not enlarge the font size when reading the integrated help. This should be possible by holding down Control key and using the scrollwheel for IE, or CTRL+PLUS in Firefox. The Contents pane is scaled, but not the actual chapter being displayed.

My best guess is that the CSS is specifying absolute font sizes instead of relative. This should be an easy change that would immediately let all integrated help be enlarged for high definition LCD panels, or for sight-limited users.

Hi Randy,

I believe that this problem has been fixed but it is possible that some pages still use a fixed font. Are you able to reproduce this problem using 3.3 M6? If so can you let me know an example of a help page which does not scale correctly.

I can not reproduce this in 3.3 M5.
Since I mentioned firefox also, maybe I was viewing online at:
http://help.eclipse.org/help32/index.jsp

Because otherwise Eclipse uses IE as the embedded browser.

I should have mentioned the chapter I was reading. Oh well, I'll reopen if I find it again.
