Is the About page missing or just needs new text?  
I think that I turned on the About page when I was playing with the Help function but I didn't do anything about the text

There is also a Help menu item "core About" that I have no idea where it comes form

It's the later.  This is one I transferred over from the old w3 bug site.  I think I entered it when I first created the RCP version and made a note that we needed to create the "About page".

What do you want the About page to say.  

It is on the product.stem in the 
branding" tab

Something basic like which version and date. Need to figure out how to get things like that and the build id to be automatically picked up and inserted.

I deleted the image that was being shown in the About page.  It was included by mistake in the orginal CVS checkin.  We probably should use ohf64_64_32.gif in stead, but I couldn't find where the about page is created or refrences the image.

In the ui project, select product.stem, go to the branding page. The specification of the image and the text goes there.   Under the covers, it gets inserted someplace in plugin.xml

It was "obvious" once you pointed me in the right direction.  I changed the image.
