When running the Global Spanish flu scenario that starts in Middlesex, MA, the disease spreads across the USA but seems
to lose "steam" around the middle of the country.  (This is with no roads, but includes airports)

Possible explanations:
1) missing connectivity
2) just a display resolution issue for locations with low population density
