When the label of the swim lane is in view, any item that requires redrawing will be replaced with the background color of the swim lane.

Oddly enough, the outline view of the same diagram seems to work without a flaw!

I think this would not be limited to linux in fact.

It's been a while and the recent work on lanes brings me to think this is now fixed. At least I cannot reproduce the problem anymore.
