Description Claude Knaus CLA 2002-05-23 06:53:40 EDT
F1 on w2k:

The only way to get help for the workbench on F1 is:

  1) create a new window and hit F1
  2) close all views and editors
  3) switch to another perspective

The problem is that the help is only displayed if there is no workbench part
active.

Claude means that it's difficult to get the help topic about the workbench
itself.
The above items are alternatives, not steps.

It would be nice to be able to get multiple help contexts here.
Randy, do we have any support for doing this anymore?

Comment 2 Randy Giffen CLA 2002-05-28 00:12:34 EDT
Yes we still have the old nested context support but I don't think we should
use it. There is always help contents rather than F1

Reopened for investigation

The main workbench help topic addresses this.
