There needs to be a simple example of how to create a task repository. While the information is available in the provided repository, it is hard to determine what is required. I will provide a example task repository tha simple reads tasks and attributes from a flat file. Hopefully this will show what needs to be implemented to create a task repository.
Jim, are you interested to look at PDE wizards? See bug 170395 170395: Mylar should contribute PDE wizards for creating Mylar's extension points https://bugs.eclipse.org/bugs/show_bug.cgi?id=170395
I looked at bug 170395. This sounds like a better way to generate the required Mylat task repositories. I will look at it, but can not commit alot of time. I am currently, like everyone else, working on code for EclipseCom2007

A good driver for this could be CSV-stored tasks since it would not have any external dependencies (bug 193439).
Our current efforts are focused on making the reference implementations as easy as possible to read, but we would be happy to take a contribution for this. CC'ing Wayne since he's involved with the Eclipse Examples project: http://www.eclipse.org/examples/
