When you got this crash you should have also got a java core file in your Eclipse directory. Could you attach it please?
Which Files should I attach? All the files in this folder "I:\eclipse\configuration\org.eclipse.core.runtime"?
Most of the time this happens when I am working in Debug Perspective. It doesn't crash in normal Resource or Java Perspective.
There should be a file with javacore in the name n your install directory

Sorry - I think I am not being specific enough. The file I am after is not a source file (I have access to all of these). When a java virtual machine has a general protection fault it will write two files to your install directory - one that starts with core.xx and one with javacore.xx and one with Snapxx The javacore file has all of the Thread information we need.
I can't find these files in the eclipse folder i have. I have just unzipped the eclipse I downloaded from yoxos website (http://ondemand.yoxos.com/geteclipse/W4TDelegate) Let me know in which folder these files are generated.
Is this one of the mirrors? If you get the JVM terminating popup you should get a core dump afterwards.
Created attachment 56480 [details] In which folder the file are created? Let me know in which folder those files are generated? The problem is crashing is still there when I debug the source code.
I have downloaded the distro from yoxos website for eclipse.
The eclipse directory is where the files should be. Could you try downloading from eclipse.org and see if you get the same problem? I am not familiar with the yoxos site and this directory sturcture looks different from what I would expect.
Do you mean I should download the SDK from eclipse website not from the distro link?
Yes - I am not sure what is in the distribution you are using.
I'll track this one
Ok, that will be more helpful. Please do remember that I am using the eclipse on Windows Vista.
Any more information on this?
Nop, don't know what causing it to crash.
