Description Mike Reid CLA 2006-12-15 17:47:01 EST
In Eclipse 3.2.1 if I specify a workspace name such as:

 D:\123,456,789

Then Eclipse starts fine and uses it without complaining. However, next time I start Eclipse the Workspace Launcher I see as recent entries:

D:\123
456
789

Instead of the single path D:\123,456,789. This used to work in Eclipse 3.0.2 and also 3.1 I think (I haven't tested 3.1 recently).

This is fairly irritating, as part of my job requires me to switch workspaces quite often each day. My naming system for my workspaces involves the use of commas, and so this new behaviour gets frustrating quickly.

This bug hasn't had any activity in quite some time. Maybe the problem got resolved, was a duplicate of something else, or became less pressing for some reason - or maybe it's still relevant but just hasn't been looked at yet.

If you have further information on the current state of the bug, please add it. The information can be, for example, that the problem still occurs, that you still want the feature, that more information is needed, or that the bug is (for whatever reason) no longer relevant.
