Description Dave Smith CLA 2006-12-05 23:35:44 EST
I installed the Platform and Monitoring Tools Runtime packages from the 4.3 200611160100D driver. When I imported a log file the Log View opened in the bottom pane instead of on the right hand side pane. I'll attache a screen capture. I was using the IBM JDK 1.4.2 SR6:

java version "1.4.2"
Java(TM) 2 Runtime Environment, Standard Edition (build 1.4.2)
Classic VM (build 1.4.2, J2RE 1.4.2 IBM Windows 32 build cn142-20060824 (SR6) (J
IT enabled: jitc))

Not stop ship for 4.3. It can be deferred to 4.4
Comment 3 Dave Smith CLA 2006-12-05 23:57:27 EST
The same behaviour occurs with the Platform and Monitoring Tools SDK packages.
Comment 4 Eugene Chan CLA 2007-02-01 00:04:52 EST
Target to future. Cannot be contained in 4.4 due to limitation of resource.
Comment 5 Eric Labadie CLA 2007-08-09 13:29:12 EDT
Does this problem still occur in v4.4?

This is required from AC perspective
Comment 6 Alex Nan CLA 2007-10-30 23:09:27 EDT
Targetting 4.5 i2.
Comment 7 Alex Nan CLA 2007-11-05 18:20:40 EST
Changing target to 4.5 i4.
Comment 8 Alex Nan CLA 2007-12-12 00:09:26 EST
Targetting to i5, couldn't be contained in i4.
Comment 9 Yasuhisa Gotoh CLA 2008-01-16 07:38:27 EST
Cannot be reproduced the problem using the TPTP-4.5.0-200712211700 (TPTP 4.5 M4) driver. The log view is always shown in the right hand side.

Alex, can you reproduce this in your environment?
Comment 10 Alex Nan CLA 2008-01-16 22:23:32 EST
Return it as unreproducible.
Comment 11 Yasuhisa Gotoh CLA 2008-01-17 01:30:22 EST
Returning since it's not reproducible.

As of TPTP 4.6.0, TPTP is in maintenance mode and focusing on improving quality by resolving relevant enhancements/defects and increasing test coverage through test creation, automation, Build Verification Tests (BVTs), and expanded run-time execution. As part of the TPTP Bugzilla housecleaning process (see http://wiki.eclipse.org/Bugzilla_Housecleaning_Processes), this enhancement/defect is verified/closed by the Project Lead since this originator of this enhancement/defect has an inactive Bugzilla account and considered to be fixed. If this enhancement/defect is still unresolved and reproducible in the latest TPTP release (http://www.eclipse.org/tptp/home/downloads/), please re-open.
