I20061129-1340

- File > Switch Workspace > Other...
=> Dialog should be resizable, since path can have arbitrary length

- Expand "Copy Settings"
=> A scrollbar is shown for the two checkboxes. Should resize automatically to have enough space (or have large enough initial size).
Comment 1 Markus Keller CLA 2007-01-04 05:41:54 EST
In 3.3 M4, the dialog automatically resizes when "Copy Settings" is expanded, but it is still not resizable and does not shrink on collapse.

In addition to resizeable dialog, I'd like to see a list of workspaces rather than a dropdown.
It would make it far more userfriendly :-)

Also, the number of items it remembers seems quite low (5 or so?) although i have not verified this...

Comment 4 Markus Keller CLA 2009-04-03 09:33:30 EDT
In latest builds, you can configure the number of remembered workspaces on the "Workspaces" preference page.

I agree though that the combo should be replaced by a list (probably adding SWT.SIMPLE to the new Combo(..) call and adjusting the layout would be enough).

Assigning back to inbox for re-triage.

This bug hasn't had any activity in quite some time. Maybe the problem got resolved, was a duplicate of something else, or became less pressing for some reason - or maybe it's still relevant but just hasn't been looked at yet.

If you have further information on the current state of the bug, please add it. The information can be, for example, that the problem still occurs, that you still want the feature, that more information is needed, or that the bug is (for whatever reason) no longer relevant.
