Build 20020521 I sometimes lose the colours in my gradient on Linux - i.e. the colour goes to a grayscale gradient instead of the usual blue gradient. I cannot replicate how to make it happen but I was getting a lot of errors about the missing WebBrowser component in update when it occured. You can get the blue gradient back by creating a class - the new editor will have a blue gradient and all of the others will get it bacl as well.
Anything in the .log? Can you ref other PRs encountered when you saw this?
The only thing I was getting consistently was the missing additions message at the time. I have not been able to replucate consistently.
Replicated. It appears to be a redraw problem. STEPS 1) Get focus on a view 2) Open Netscape over the window 3) Close Netscape 4) The gradient is redrawn balc and white. If you switch perspectives or cause one to activate (like by creating a new file) the colours will be restored Note that clocking back and forth will not cause this - you must collapse the window in front.
Logged Bug 17763 about the problem to SWT.
Which window manager?
