Working Groups
We should somehow change resource (files) icons in package explorer if their status is changed within workgroup. For instance someone else changes a file. A collaboration event is sent. The event should change icon in other's workbenches, so that others knows that someone is working on that file. It would be great if we could provide some kind of hint yellow box with description who, when and how changed the status of the file. Question: - When should we clear the status of changed file? Should user clear the status, should there be a timeout or just when a new status is available? Probably someone from usability should answer this question. Problems: - CVS update gives the change event too. We do not have a CVS events propearly detected. So, this would inform others that some user changed a file, while in fact he/she just synced with CVS.
