Set your Keys Scheme to Emacs. Bring up the Properties dialog box for a jar file in the build path. Select "Java Source Attachment" in the left-hand column. The "Workspace..." button indicates that Alt+w is a keyboard shortcut for it but Alt+w does nothing.

This would have to be solved at the platform level, if at all. The base problem is that Emacs defines Alt+* keybindings, which conflict with mnemonics everywhere.

In the workbench window menu, I saw that the mnemonic for the &Window menu is removed when Emacs bindings are active. Maybe something similar could be done in dialogs.

This bug hasn't had any activity in quite some time. Maybe the problem got resolved, was a duplicate of something else, or became less pressing for some reason - or maybe it's still relevant but just hasn't been looked at yet.

If you have further information on the current state of the bug, please add it. The information can be, for example, that the problem still occurs, that you still want the feature, that more information is needed, or that the bug is (for whatever reason) no longer relevant.
