Description Prashant Kulkarni CLA 2006-10-30 10:58:47 EST
Steps to reproduce:
* Launch eclipse IDE.
* Go to the File->Export Export Dialog pops up.
* Expand General and click on Preferences
* Click Next
* Click on the Browse Button to select valid path for your file and click on "save" button
* Now add special characters to the file name or path(<,>,@,#,$,%......),it should give the following error message like "Special characters are not allowed" etc.

Allowing these characters cause accessibility compliance failure.

How is this causing an accessibility issue?I don't see how this is any different for users with accessibility issues.

This bug hasn't had any activity in quite some time. Maybe the problem got resolved, was a duplicate of something else, or became less pressing for some reason - or maybe it's still relevant but just hasn't been looked at yet.

If you have further information on the current state of the bug, please add it. The information can be, for example, that the problem still occurs, that you still want the feature, that more information is needed, or that the bug is (for whatever reason) no longer relevant.
