SWT issue?
Comment 2 Carolyn MacLeod CLA 2008-04-09 17:53:17 EDT
This works for me, using JAWS 8.0 and WindowEyes 6.0.

SWT publishes the table column headers through MSAA. The screen readers decide whether they want to read them. JAWS and WindowEyes both read them by default.
The headers do not need to have focus to be read.

If you are using a very old version of JAWS, you may need to find and select the "Use MSAA for ListViews" option in the Configuration Manager in order to hear table headers.

Closing bug.
