There is already a TreePathViewerSorter. In consequence, there should also be a TreePathElementComparer.

Which concrete problem would this solve?  I don't understand why you would want
to do this since the element comparer is used for doing a hash look up for
finding the tree item for a given element.

As of now 'LATER' and 'REMIND' resolutions are no longer supported.
