Description Dirk Baeumer CLA 2002-05-13 05:02:33 EDT
Build 20020508

When in single-click mode a view receives an open and a selection changed event
when an item gets selected. To avoid executing same code twice (we already have
code that brings an editor to front when the item is selected in the packages
view) I now check in selection changed events if the OpenStrategy is in single
click mode.

This has the disadvantage that we don't bring an editor to front if the user
selects the element using the right mouse button (select and context menu open)
since this doesn't generate an open event.

So my question is: how to I avoid executing code twice but being able to do the
right thing on right mouse click as well.

Is this still an issue in 3.2?
Comment 3 Dirk Baeumer CLA 2006-06-22 10:35:41 EDT
AFAIK yes.

This bug hasn't had any activity in quite some time. Maybe the problem got resolved, was a duplicate of something else, or became less pressing for some reason - or maybe it's still relevant but just hasn't been looked at yet.

If you have further information on the current state of the bug, please add it. The information can be, for example, that the problem still occurs, that you still want the feature, that more information is needed, or that the bug is (for whatever reason) no longer relevant.
