The machine I am using is up to date winxp - service pack2. Also it has a dual core.
note the dual core
There have not been any other reports of this in the meantime, and dual cores are now very typical, so it must be/have been something specific to your setup or context. Does it still happen for you with a recent build such as http://download.eclipse.org/eclipse/downloads/drops/S-3.4M7-200805020100/index.php ? And if so can you provide any additional info that could be helpful?
Timed out, closing report. If this still happens with a recent eclipse build like http://download.eclipse.org/eclipse/downloads/drops/S-3.6RC2-201005201744/index.php and you have any additional info that could be helpful then please reopen, thanks.
