Description Max Gilead CLA 2006-07-27 07:17:43 EDT
I suggest to add possibility to generate patch from two arbitrary files, possibly with one or both files outside of Eclipse workspace.

For example, I got a file by mail and I need to prepare a patch from it compared to current repository version. Currently it's necessary to:
1. replace working file with modified version
2. prepare patch
3. replace file with working copy
4. review/modify patch
5. apply patch

With this enhancement it would be only:
1. generate patch
2. review/modify patch
3. apply patch

Two most cubmersome steps would go away.
