This bug is spawned from bug 119928.
Run Eclipse in a bidi locale, bring up the import or export wizard and select archive or file system - you will see a ResourceTreeAndListGroup.  Files like the .project display as project. instead of .project because of the bidi rendering algorithm.  The should display LTR instead of RTL.  Calling TextProcessor.process(".project", ".") will insert directional characters to render the string LTR.

This bug hasn't had any activity in quite some time. Maybe the problem got resolved, was a duplicate of something else, or became less pressing for some reason - or maybe it's still relevant but just hasn't been looked at yet.
