Open eclipse LTA. Open the preference page. Window->Preferences.. Expand Profiling and Logging node. Expand Log View Click on Symptom database. Click on Symptom database Tab. Click on Clear all button if there/is any Sympmtom Catalog/s in the list. Click on any other node like Java or Help. Error message get displyed "The currently displayed page cintains invalid values." 1. values are not invalid. It just that no symptom is available or no symptom catalogs are selected. Messages should be something like.."to perform analysis, atleast one symptom catalog should be selected" 2. Can not change any other preference. have to close this preference page and then make any changes that are needed. User should be able to change other properties in the preference in no symptom catalog is selected.

Hi Alex, Can you please review the fix/patch.
I would add an error (PreferencePage.ERROR) flag instead of a warning to be consistent with the message when no engine is selected. Do the change and check in the patch. Thanks.

As of TPTP 4.6.0, TPTP is in maintenance mode and focusing on improving quality by resolving relevant enhancements/defects and increasing test coverage through test creation, automation, Build Verification Tests (BVTs), and expanded run-time execution. As part of the TPTP Bugzilla housecleaning process (see http://wiki.eclipse.org/Bugzilla_Housecleaning_Processes), this enhancement/defect is verified/closed by the Project Lead since the originator of this enhancement/defect has an inactive Bugzilla account and considered to be fixed. If this enhancement/defect is still unresolved and reproducible in the latest TPTP release (http://www.eclipse.org/tptp/home/downloads/), please re-open.
