Description neil_buesing CLA 2002-04-26 14:24:12 EDT
It would be a good enhancement to be able to give a workspace a name that could
show up in the title bar of Eclipse (or some other method that makes it easy to
distingush between worksplaces).

We have many developers that run 2 or 3 workspaces. One is for primary
development and the others are for bug branches or project specific
implementations.

The developers run multiple eclipses instances with each running from a
separate workspace. Since an eclipse instance can launch additional
worksplaces, it can get confusing for the developer to know what worksplace the
given Eclipse window is actually associated with.

Agree this would be useful.
Marked for consideration for v3.

Note you can currently run eclipse with -showlocation to show the workspace
location in the titlebar.
