The Free Text widget within the diagram palette does not get focus when selected. Only after re-sizing and adjustments the eventually the widget is activated for entry but does not allow selected and deleted the default text.

On first selection, FreeText widget gets selected. On second click, within the free text border, text gets the focus. This behaviour first mouse click on node is  to select the node and second mouse within node is to focus the text for modification is for all other nodes/figures/widgets in all diagrams. 

Without re-size, just extra mouse click will give focus on text to  modify. 

Works as design. Marking as resolved.
