At the moment, I can only cut&paste one item at a time. It would be much nicer if I for example could move several textfields and labels.

Yes! It is really annoying to copy labels one by one

Alex and Lars,
If we do then are you OK with the restriction that all of the components/controls selected to be copied in the multiple operation are sharing the same parent container/composite.  This way when you drop they'll just be dropped onto a single parent and all maintain the same relationship ?

Do you mean "same parent" on selection or on pasting?

Dropped onto a single parent would be fine. If possible, selection from different parents would be nice but if there´s no way I could live without it =)
