When you externally rename a file or when a file is still not automatically re-generated, Eclipse shows a dialog like in screenshot 1 and 2. These dialogs sometimes drive you crazy because it blocks all the interface until you anwser and it forces you to close files you will have to re-open. So what about asking the question in the file location like in screenshot 3 and 4 ? - This would not block the interface - You could access to other the files before anwsering - You could externally re-generate your files without having to close them

Note: if the files the you externally (re-)generate aren't dirty in your editor then it might help to enable auto-synchronization: General > Workspace > Refresh automatically

This bug hasn't had any activity in quite some time. Maybe the problem got resolved, was a duplicate of something else, or became less pressing for some reason - or maybe it's still relevant but just hasn't been looked at yet. If you have further information on the current state of the bug, please add it. The information can be, for example, that the problem still occurs, that you still want the feature, that more information is needed, or that the bug is (for whatever reason) no longer relevant.
