Description Bogdan Gheorghe CLA 2006-06-01 11:33:51 EDT
I20060526-0010

I have three users on my local CVS server. Some projects on the server were created before the other two users accounts were added, and thus have different group permissions. The result is that though all three users are able to browse the repository, not all users are able to see the contents of the file. Instead of showing the version number of a file in a project owned by a group the user is not a part of, it will show a 0 and log an error.

We should either have a better error message explaining that the cause of the 0 could be a permission problem or not show projects that users can't access fully.

This bug hasn't had any activity in quite some time. Maybe the problem got resolved, was a duplicate of something else, or became less pressing for some reason - or maybe it's still relevant but just hasn't been looked at yet.

If you have further information on the current state of the bug, please add it. The information can be, for example, that the problem still occurs, that you still want the feature, that more information is needed, or that the bug is (for whatever reason) no longer relevant.
