Description Cherie Revells CLA 2006-05-31 10:43:43 EDT
Screen reader does not read the property values in the property view table.

To reproduce:
- Create a text file.
- Open the properties view.
- Navigate to the individual properties.
PROBLEM: The screen reader will read the property name, but not the value. There is also no indication that the value could be changed in an editable field.

Which screen reader are you using? The properties view is a multi-column tree and when I select an item, the contents of the whole row (property name and value) is read when I use WindowEyes which follows MSAA. I believe this doesn't work with JAWS. Also, if you use inspect32 to check the values, you will see the Name is the property name and the Description contains the value - both of these fields are read by the WindowEyes screenreader.

Hmmm, it does work fine for me now with Windows Eyes and Inspect Objects. Maybe I was using JAWS, but I can't really remember. Sorry about that.
