Description Jon Smirl CLA 2006-05-14 23:59:27 EDT
Numpad keys with Ctrl+Shift do not work properly in the editors on Linux.
Ctrl+Numpad_6 and Shift+Numpad_6 generate Ctrl+Right, Shift+Right which is correct for my setup. I have MS Windows Numpad emulation enabled on Fedora.

Ctrl+Shift+Numpad_6 generates a 6 with an underline which doesn't do anything. I wanted Ctrl+Shift+Numpad_6 to generate word right with selection. I am unable to reassign the underscore 6 to anything in preferences.

Same for Ctrl+Shift+Numpad_7 - select to top of file, etc.

The dedicated keys work properly, only the numpad versions are broken.

Works on WindowsXP using 3.2 RC4.

See bug 46580 for the Ctrl+Shift issue on Linux-GTK.

BTW: same behavior in gedit, thunderbird, etc.
