Description Andrew Bachmann CLA 2006-05-04 16:24:17 EDT
During routine eclipse operations, the alt or control [ctrl] key stops working in the java editor. (usually control) For example, while typing some code, the user hits "control" + "left arrow" to move the cursor back a word. Instead of the cursor moving back a word, it moves back one character. (this is my recollection, so it might be that it just doesn't move at all)

This bug exists since 3.2rc1 and also in 3.2rc2. It is quite annoying.

A workaround to restore functionality is to switch to another editor and switch back.

I attempted to purposefully reproduce the behavior but I can not find the triggering event.
