When you select Perspective-InstallUpdate none of the views have focus when it 
opens. As a result you cannot navigate until you select one via Ctrl-F7.

Also the preview view doesn't take focus when it is selected from the 
Configuration view - this means using Ctrl-F6 to get to it.

This is a general workbench problem:
- close all perspectives
- open resource perspective
- no view has focus

Since you can get to one with the view switcher, this is not critical.

this is now obsolete due to the Install/Update rework in 3.0
