Description Eugene Kuleshov CLA 2006-04-24 22:33:37 EDT
Menu item for opening correspond report from change set is not being shown when Synchronize view is in Shange Sets mode using CVS with model synchronization type (new default in 3.2).
Comment 1 Mik Kersten CLA 2006-05-17 01:03:15 EDT
Fixed. Also, any node that's a child of the change set can now be clicked to open the corresponding task (not just the change set node itself).

I hadn't noticed that the contributions were still being made to the old page (it's tricky to know whether you're in the new page or the old one if you have an old synchronization around). It looks like we're currently unable to contribute to the popup menu for the model based page so I filed bug 142275.
Comment 4 Mik Kersten CLA 2006-05-19 11:58:02 EDT
Surprisingly and unfortuantely there is no support for providing a 3rd party contribution to this menu in Eclipse 3.2, so we are blocked by bug 142275 (see Michael's response there). We'll explore what he proposes, but all we're after is a simple object contribution to the change set node, sigh.
Comment 5 Mik Kersten CLA 2006-06-06 10:34:34 EDT
Will attempt to re-emphasize the need for Platform/Team extensibility for this (bug 142275) after Callisto goes out.
Comment 6 Mik Kersten CLA 2006-06-13 23:07:51 EDT
Moving dependency to new bug since the former was marked duplicate.
Comment 7 Mik Kersten CLA 2006-06-22 22:09:39 EDT
Fixed, thanks to the extensibility provided by the org.eclipse.ui.navigator.navigatorContent actionProvider, as documented by Michael Valenta on bug 124882.
