If ther is only one tab in the tabbed properties view, the tab should not be shown. Here's what I did to get a properties view with one tab:

1) Open the Project Explorer from the Show View menu
2) select a resource
3) Open the properties view

The result is a tabbed properties page with one tab.  will attach a screenshot.

Also, I'm not sure if Advanced is the right name for the tab.

This 'quirk' still exists in Eclipse Mars.

This bug hasn't had any activity in quite some time. Maybe the problem got resolved, was a duplicate of something else, or became less pressing for some reason - or maybe it's still relevant but just hasn't been looked at yet. As such, we're closing this bug.
